The system of record for the aviation aftermarket

One record for the quote, the order, the teardown, the trace and the ledger — so an 8130-3 and a margin figure can never disagree.

White-glove migration, included. A 3442 engineer moves your parts, orders, trace and books, and reconciles them against your current system before cut-over. See how it works

01 Intake

Every deal enters once and is never re-keyed.

An RFQ becomes a quote. The quote becomes a sales order. The SO pulls a purchase order or opens a work order. The work order raises a repair order against a unit with a serial and a history. Same record, one identifier, every hop — no spreadsheet in the middle.

  • Quotes Vendor RFQs fan out; responses land side by side with landed cost.
  • Sales orders Margin holds and exchanges due, surfaced before release.
  • Purchase orders Expediting board and cores owed, per vendor.
  • Work orders Hold board plus material readiness for every open job.
  • Repair orders Opened against the serial, not a description.

02 Compression

One set of books, posted from the same rows.

The ledger is double-entry and posts from the operational records themselves — receipts, issues, repairs, invoices. A journal entry is never edited in place: corrections post as reversals, with the audit trail to show it. Ask what a unit cost you and the answer ties to the books, because there is only one set of books.

03 Combustion

Agents that clear the paperwork — not a chat box bolted to the side.

APEX Intelligence reads the documents your team re-keys today. It turns a customer's emailed RFQ into draft RFQs, extracts a vendor's surcharge invoice and matches it to the vendor on file, and reads a part photo into the new-part form for you to confirm.

  • RFQ intake A forwarded RFQ becomes one draft per requested part, ready to review and quote.
  • Surcharge invoices Extracted from the vendor's PDF and matched to the vendor on file.
  • Photo intake Part number, serial and lot read from a photo, for a person to confirm.
  • Bring your own agent Claude and ChatGPT connect over MCP with scoped API keys.

04 Trace & compliance

Airworthiness is a state on the part, not a binder in the corner.

Directives and service bulletins are matched to the units they apply to, serial by serial. Quarantine is a location the whole system respects: a unit in it drops out of stock draws, sellable availability, the storefront and material readiness.

  • AD / SB effectivity resolved per serial range, against the units you hold.
  • Quarantine keeps a unit out of sales and stock draws until it is released.
  • Certs attach to the unit — 8130-3, EASA Form 1, teardown reports.
  • Order documents, statements and invoices carry a QR that resolves to a public authenticity page.

Connects to what you already run

Your own database

Every station gets its own Postgres project, not a tenant column in a shared table.

No staff logins to your workspace

3442 staff tools see account details, not your records — and opening an account is written to the audit log.

Never used to train a model

Your parts, prices, customers and documents stay yours. Full export on request.

05 Switching

Questions shops ask before they switch.

How does switching to APEX work?

A 3442 engineer runs the migration on your data, with your team watching, in four steps: extract, reconcile, dry run, cut over. It's included — not a separate project for you to staff.

What do you move out of our current system?

Parts, stock units and serials, customers, vendors and open orders — and the spreadsheets that sit beside your current system.

How do we know the numbers are right?

Stock counts and open balances are matched line by line against your current system. Differences are listed and explained, and your team signs off before anything cuts over.

Do we have to stop work during the move?

No. Your station runs in APEX on real data, in parallel, while the incumbent stays live. Cut-over is a dated switch with an engineer on the call, and only once the numbers agree.

What if something doesn't reconcile?

Cut-over waits. Every difference is listed and worked through until your team signs off, and a full export of everything we hold is yours on request.

Which systems does APEX connect to?

QuickBooks Online for the books, Rotabull for marketplace listings, Plaid for bank feeds, and Smart145 as a migration source with a parallel-run bridge. Labels print to Zebra printers, FedEx and UPS shipments link to carrier tracking, and your own tools connect through scoped REST API keys or an MCP server for Claude and ChatGPT.
